Mindfulness Classes – 2015
Pilot project. Summer workshops. Classes in mindfulness, aimed primarily at older people and intended to combat dementia and social isolation. Classes included Colour workshops, Board Games and Exercise, these consisted of 6 x 2 hour sessions for the ‘Mindfullness pilot’ and that those participating were all local people.
SPACE TO TALK – 2012-2014
Adult Counselling service for over 200 people per year in Haringey. Referrals from local GP’s, providing important service in mental health provision within the London Borough of Haringey.

Real Talk – 2013
A project which focussed on providing solutions to the problem of youth knife-crime and gang violence within the local community. Guest speakers, ex-gang members and mentors. Promotion of interaction and activities between young people from different postcode areas.
HAPPY OPPORTUNITIES – 2011
An award-winning inter-generational project. Bringing together local schoolchildren and older members of the community in healthy lifestyle activities including gardening, singing, dancing, creative-writing, stress management, yoga and tai-chi – visits to attractions such as London zoo and talks from guest-speakers.

Nature walks and field trips for the over 50s.
Provision of Sign Language Services – 1999
A pioneering service launched at a time when it was difficult to access translators for the deaf and hard of hearing within the local community.
Jobs Club – 2007
For young people aged 16-24. Drop-in, advice, job search, interview techniques, apprenticeships, CVs and cover letters, careers guidance.
Parents Forum – 2005
For parents to learn about and discuss issues facing children and young people in Haringey. With a particular emphasis on Road Safety. Other areas were education, gang culture and drugs. Workshops and presentations
