PHASCA has run a wide range of programs to benefit the community of Haringey. We at PHASCA are dedicated to enriching the lives of those in the community. We work mostly with marginalised members of the community and deliver needs-led services that promote the educational, psychological and social well-being of local people.
PHASCA has been working closely with young people in the community by running projects that benefit them directly. PHASCA hopes that by enriching their lives, they are less likely to be involved in crime and will go on to become confident and productive adults.
PHASCA wants to make a difference in the following areas:
- Maximising opportunities
We achieve the above practically through the work we do; the projects we undertake are designed in a manner that advances the above areas.
We also do one-to-one work with individuals that need our help, and because we are in direct contact with our beneficiaries we have the advantage of being able to consult with users on how to improve the service, both in terms of what they need and desire from the service and what currently works well. This allows PHASCA to better understand the difference we make and how effective we are in doing so.
